The Personal Interview is an opportunity for the students to prepare for future interviews, under the individualized guidance of competent persons. Beginner students are asked to put forth their response to some previous set of questions and the originality of their answers is evaluated. Intermediate student's personality evaluation is conducted through a group discussion. Students prepare an assigned topic and assemble in a group of not more than 12 students to discuss the relevance of the topic and express their opinion on the same. They also prepare a 150-word write-up prior to discussion and write a summary of the proceedings. Thus, along with the style of delivery the assigned topic, their manners, gestures, communication and language skills are evaluated.
Students of Professional modules have to showcase their communication skills. They are asked to speak extempore on a topic, read out a passage in a proper mode, pronunciation, and tone, and remember the same. Thus, their reading, retaining, and speaking capabilities are assessed. The personality of Expert level students is checked through their response to given situations, with regard to problem solving, and team work capabilities. Each student has to book an appointment to get themselves assessed on one of the scheduled days and have to report 5 minutes before the appointed time. Remaining absent at that time will enable them to lose 30% of the procured marks from a second and last booking. The second booking may be allowed on production of an application citing the reasons for the previous absentia.
The usage of the syllabus and study material is checked at the time of the personal interview (Beginners), group discussion (Intermediate), or project demo (Professional and Expert). The notes taken during class hours are checked to ascertain the student's seriousness and writing abilities. Checking of notes, syllabus, study material and practice card may be carried out during practical classes, even without prior notice, especially for Intermediate students.
A student gets marks if he/she attends all the classes. The marks are given as per the number of classes attended.
A mandatory typing test through a typing tutor software is conducted in between the session, at different levels of difficulty for different levels of courses.
Professional and Expert level students undergo an internship by guiding Beginner and Intermediate students respectively, to perform their tasks during practical classes. The evaluation is based on the observation of the concerned teacher and the impression of the students taught.

A re-examination is scheduled in the same session for each paper, but there is no scope to conduct re-examination for the last paper of each module within the session. Students can do so only through examination on demand and in case of urgency. Otherwise, it is usually conducted within two weeks after the class commencement day of the following session. For re-examination there is a fee of ₹ 50 for the theory, practical and typing, and it has to be booked at least three days before the schedule date. Students can also apply for re-examination if they have failed to appear in the examination, secured less than 30% or secured more than 30% but want to reappear for betterment.
