The Ashrama campus, at Laitumkhrah, is a beautiful spot located at the top of a hill. It consists of a small but attractive shrine, the office, an exhibition cum sale section engaged in propagating Ramakrishna Vivekananda & Vedanta literature and a library named Vivekananda Library. The Ashrama at Laitumkhrah, Shillong has a temple with a beautiful marble idol of Bhagavan Shri Ramakrishna Dev which was consecrated in 1953 by the then President of the Ramakrishna Order, Swami Shankaranandaji Maharaj. Every evening, prayer and arati are conducted which is well attended by devotees in and around Shillong.

Discourses, lectures and special worships are held on occasions. Other than the birthday anniversaries of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda, other celebrations like Janmastami, Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Shivaratri, Christmas Eve are solemnly observed. On Ekadashi days, Ramanam Sankirtan is held and on all Sundays, spiritual discourses are organised which are attended by a large number of devotees.
