Ramakrishna Mission is a worldwide spiritual movement which aims at the harmony of religions, all-round development of human faculties, social equality, and peace for all humanity, without any distinctions of creed, caste, race or nationality. Worship of God in Man is the guiding ideal of the organization. Following this noble dictum, Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong has been rendering yeomen services to the people of the state since 1930s. Over the last seventy-five years and more, Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong has been serving the people of this region tirelessly, braving various adversities. The development of Ramakrishna Mission Charitable Dispensary (along with its Mobile services) as one of the most trusted health-care facilities in Shillong and the setting up of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre as a hub of educational and youth activities speak volumes of the vision and commitment of the Mission.
With the biggest crisis of the century that the world is passing through now, has also thrown our nation into challenges perhaps never faced before. The COVID 19 pandemic has made every individual accept the lockdown and social distancing as means to combat the situation, but this also has created a huge socio-economic vacuum on the community. With a densely populated nation as ours, the poor are the worst sufferer. They find it difficult to even fetch themselves their daily morsels of food, let alone the masks and sanitizers to keep them safe from the pandemic.
Ramakrishna Mission through its various centres have always plunged itself with relief during such disasters. Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong, too found it extremely necessary to distribute provisions/grocery items to the needy families amidst lockdown/curfew. Your generous contributions have always been of immense help. And we believe that this time too you can support the great cause with all your might.
You can make your contribution in terms of financial help through the donations you make to our bank account/cheque in favour of Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong and even through materials that may be brought to our premises. We shall make sure that it reaches the neediest.
If at all such a thing is not possible, let your prayers support all our endeavours.
Yours in the Lord,
